Friday, March 30, 2012 - The earth shows through in this Pinot, with typical French farmy character. Unfined and unfiltered, It has a medium intense aroma of dark fruit and sour red cherry, beets and that wonderful funky gaminess, which also shows up on the palate. Possibly a bit of sage in there too. Not rustic like some others I've had as the fruit is evident. Very nice and enjoyable, drinkable now.
