Tuesday, June 14, 2011 - Popped and poured at 14C. Bright garnet. Fragrant, dark fruit bouquet. Some raspberry notes and a sweet almost vanilla note that fleets in and out. Brisk attack, oodles of red fruit lashing across the mid-palate and a long final marked by some silky tannins. There's a very enjoyable undertow to this wine....easy drinking but no question as to its complexity.
