Saturday, May 26, 2012 - Give this time to open up for a real treat. Clear medium ruby color with a terrific mineral laden nose of dried cranberry and other dried red fruits followed by a dusting of dried petals. This wine shines on the palate with a clean, medium body and finely grained medium-plus tannins. Tart cherries, pomegranate, and cranberries carry through on medium-minus acidity. Throw in a medium-plus finish and this wine is showing remarkable balance and will only improve with time in the cellar. This is a very good wine and producing good bang for the buck.
