Friday, March 9, 2012 - 5th in a flight of 6 Pinot Noir from various, Oregon, California, New Zealand.
In the glass: Deep ruby, clear. On the nose: Strong liquorice,vanilla, spice box, a little red fruit. In the mouth: Concentrated, full mouth feel, light tannins, medium grip on the tongue, a little pencil shavings at the finish. A better than average Pinot, very lovely. Retail $32 would have bought some, but they were out!! Will definitely visit the winery to try a few others as this was very nice indeed!
