Thursday, February 5, 2009 - Dark red with some slight brickening at rims.Earthiness,cassis and oak on the nose.On the palate medium dark fruit/cassis,oak and dominant pencil lead as well as some slightly austere herbaceousness.Tannins nicely integrated.Seemed to soften and get more balanced with couple of hours airing.Overall a very decent claret that seemes to have some years left,though it is very near its peak now.
