Opened for 6hrs. Despite for the slow-ox, this is still tight and shy, only showing discreet aromas of citrus, yeast and underlying sweet mineral. The palate does show better though. Medium bodied with lovely mousse expand and gently coated the tongue and bring out the complex layer of flavors that has excellent delineation and finesse. The fruits are bright, fresh with good acidic backbone to support. Long finished. This is showing ok but not so much on depth or class. My friend who is a suc*er for old cristal told me that Cristal is a champagne that need long time in the bottle in order to show its real potential. I will wait for the opportunity to come! 90-92
