Friday, December 11, 2015 - With Susan and Harvey @ Osteria del Teatro restaurant. With foie gras and then veal francaise. Big nose of earth, dark fruits, spices. On the palate, earthy, brambly, spices. Grenache comes through with power. A touch of cassis and acidity. Structured and well balanced. Medium finish with some heat at the end. This is a hungry man’s wine. Great with food, not a sipping wine.
