Saturday, August 10, 2013 - Dark purple, no signs of aging. Nice nose; carries cedar, forest pine, a bit of stone. Mouth bellyflops, however, with some pruney, immobile flavor, topping off with a tannic bite. Doesn't seem to blow off, so time/decanting is unlikely to help. May be a dud bottle. 87 points.
