Saturday, June 17, 2006 - Opened about an hour before serving but did not decant. Had a great color (deep and dark). The nose gave off that Pauillac grassiness, which soon softened to reveal, cassis, blackberry, pepper, and some earthiness. The bottle was smooth as the tannins have fallen off and the finish was smooth as well. This was a young bottle.
