Sunday, February 1, 2004 - Tasted at Amy Weinberg's Super Bowl party. Bottle taken from my personal cellar and double-decanted one hour in advance. Bright disc. Deep garnet robe with slight bricking at the rim. Clean nose, showing an explosive bouquet of cocoa, meat, black cherry, leather and clove. Full-bodied on the palate, with low acidity, big ripe tannins and similar complex flavors as for the nose. The smooth finish goes on and on. This is classic Lynch!
