Sunday, February 10, 2013 - Rum raisin, Alsatian latex/Bandaid, ginger a bit. Feels lean and thin on the midpalate (I wouldn't be surprised if this were typical for late harvest Pinot Gris). The sweet violet on the nose reminds me of Chenin Blanc based dessert wines, except the generous fleshy midpalate just isn't there. Needs to be served cold (57 F or lower) enough to feel poised.
