Thursday, October 6, 2016 - Pale yellow in color, this wine reveals muted aromas of lemon curd, gooseberry and green pea on the nose. The mouth feel brought surprisingly high levels of acidity as well as more citrus aromas including lime juice. The finish paired the fading fruit and acidity well. 13.5% abv.

A gift from my boss from his wine cellar, this wine is fully mature but still pleasant to drink with surprisingly crisp remaining acidity. The overt NZ SB aromas have softened very much to the point if tasted blind, I'd identify this wine as a white Bordeaux.

Imported by Moet Hennessy USA, New York, NY.
