Friday, July 12, 2013 - A spectacular and brilliant interpretation of the Cabernet Franc varietal. The 2007 Dedicato a Walter provides a fleshy exhuberant fruit combined with subtle and lovely green tones. The first impression is dill, but after a few minutes the unmistakable tone of Cabernet Franc emerges. The nice part of this effort is that the green tones are kept at armlengths distance thanks to the rich fruit. The palate is beautiful and the youth of this effort is nicely handled by a harmonious orchestration of the various components such as tannins, acidity and oak. This effort is impeccably balanced and represents very skillful winemaking. A true experience.
