Saturday, April 6, 2013 - Slightly advanced color with coppery notes. The nose was a blend of sugar cookie and nuts. On the palate, there was sugar cookie, nuts, tart apple skin, and yeasty notes. The acidity is high with large mousse. Overall, this wine is a little past peak but is honestly made and enjoyable. Don't expect Krug, but enjoy it for what it is.
