Thursday, September 11, 2014 - This wine is still extremely tannic, it dries the teeth out completely, but the color is starting to tan around the edges. The tar and terroir completely overpower the fruit, which is light bing cherry, and not very compelling. There are light herbal notes, and some chocolate overtones. Great perfume, however, nice floral notes all over the place. By the time the tannins fade, what will be left?
