Well built chard. Big structure, fleshy mid palate and can probably last for five or so years. Melon, asian pear, mineral and a touch of tropical juice.

A lightly oaked style, light to medium bodied, warm and a little generic; but generally clean, without serious flaws. Extended air helped smooth this considerably. Just okay for the price.

- Yellow brown color. It's balanced and has flavours of grapefruit and butterscotch with a medium body. Smooth texture with a long finish - Very good Chardonnay, one of the few that I look forward to when we open; this bottle did not disappoint

Superb with cracked Dungeness crab. Fruit was sweet and ripe, but there was a touch of tart lemon there too. Oak was in the background, but kept things smooth and full.

Big fruit, with a hint of tart citrus, but nice balance of creamy oak. Enough acid to pair with food but great as a sipper. Nearly the whole package (lacking depth of earth/minerality), but overall a very tasty wine.

Cooked an exquisite meal of fresh Gulf Grouper, fresh Gulf Shrimp, Japanese Seaweed salad, whole wheat pasta, a richly varied salad, fresh winter pear, and cheddar cheese sauce; but of course, we need a nice rich wine to toast with, so I popped and poured this beauty. I picked this up at the winery at the top of Spring Mountain. This is an excellent example of a California Chardonnay. Rich, complex, balanced, with just the right amount of light oak. The perfect word for this wine is "balanced." It paired perfectly with the Grouper and the Shrimp. It disappeared in an instant -- the hallmark of a great wine.

Great balance, round and delicious Chardonnay. This wine has wonderful citrus flavors along with a light mineral taste...one of the best Chardonnay's of the summer.

Aroma of limestone, honey, citrus fruit and some oak. Taste has vanilla, some of the honey and a bit of lime. At one point I got a taste of buttercream in it, which was nice compared to the pure buttery taste that seems typical in a lot of domestic Chardonnays. Seems more enjoyable to me than most CA Chards. Probably not a very good QPR, but still pretty tasty.

This was an outstanding chardonnay. One of the best we have had. We love the non-MLF chards. Nice and crisp with no oak or butter. It was the perfect pairing with a shrimp and asparagus risotto.

Liked it better than the Vintners Select. More balance, less fruit, lightly oaked

Big fleshy chard with caramel and citrus on the nose, a tad of pineapple or passion fruit, long finish. Balanced, not over-oaked.

Last bottle of an excellent cuvee. Balanced, full, touch of oak but not a butterball.

This bottle came off overoaked to me. Maybe it was too warm.

A bit woody for my taste, but with enough acidity to provide some balance. Chill it down a bit for best results.

This was my first Pride Chard and it did not disappoint.
Pale yellow in color with a soft nose of pear, peach and apricot. Soft on the palate with good hints of oak and that buttery flavor and feel.
