Cozy nose of blueberry pie, cedar, and Christmas spices. Dense entrance with rich blue fruit and winter wood. Addictive. This is a total winter PN. It came as a little bit of a surprise on a 93 degree June day, but I appreciated it nonetheless.

Not serious but really fun -- fruit punch and the ending effect, then vanishes. The squishy fruit, sugared jicima, bran, old hay and a little evap. 16/20

solid, everyday pinot. great value for the $18 bucks its costs at safeway. i agree with tigerpaw75... a crowd pleaser but not a complex burgundian style pinot.

Excellent Cali Pinot, definitely in that style - soft, round, smooth, but still has the earthiness that lets you know it is Pinot. Just don't expect Burgundy. Bright strawberry and raspberry fruit on the nose and the palate. Not complex, but very good and easy drinking. I would expect this to be a crowd pleaser at a party.

Thin and "hot" initially, this wine definitely needs time to breath. Nose is cherry, tobacco, green chili, and wet stone. Flavors follow closely. Never came together for us; seemed disjointed and acidic even after a couple of hours and triple decanting.
Maybe it was the eclectic mix of foods we were eating, maybe our bottle was a touch off, or maybe it had more to do with the incredibly yummy wines we tasted earlier in the day at Woodhouse Family Winery. Overall we were just not impressed.

Let this one breath before drinking. Once it does the fruits come alive and the finish really mellows. A fine table wine. We enjoyed with a nice vegetable lasagna.

17th Annual Central Carolina Food and Wine Festival (Medallion Center, Columbia, SC.): Assembled from vineyards in 3 separate and distinct growing regions, it is not hard to imagine the characteristics imparted by each. On the nose I thought Burgundian, a slightly cooler influence from San Luis Obispo. The palate had the type of ripe balance, that almost fells like sweetness, from the warmer Santa Barbara area. Then there is some structure from the Monterrey County grapes. All in all a decent Pinot. Lots of fruit. Smooth in the mouth. Slightly earthy. Nice job.

14.5% ABV. Translucent garnet in the glass. Decent, "varietally" correct Pinot nose of black cherry and some funk with a light suggestion of hard candy. Medium bodied with tangy black cherry fruit. This is pretty decent and exceeded my expectations. 88ish

I have had the cabernet and loved it but never had their pinot so i thought that i would give it a try. I was very surprised with this wine. It was loaded with candied fruit. very smooth for a young wine and at the price point (9.99) it was a great QPR. Would buy again but I don't think this is a wine that will get any better with age so go ahead and drink now.

Relatively full bodied for a Pinot with great fruit forward highlights throughout. Fantastic table wine that paired well with steak. Will drink again.

Decent New World Pinot. Can do better for the price. [14.5% abv.; $23.50].

Strawberry fruit on the nose and mixed berries on the palate. Mid-length finish but a great expression of Cali Pinot. Just delicious.

Outstanding QPR. Got this for $13 and drinks like $20+. Bright balanced fruit. Nothing overly complex but very enjoyable.
