Beautifully balanced wine with dark fruits and cherries and nice chocolate and spice notes. Lovely nose, nice acidity and incredible finish. Suspect this vintage will cellar well for years more.

Tannins are nicely mellowed while maintaining excellent fruit. Drinking close to it’s prime but my ex wasn’t the nicest to my wine; no rush if you still have a few.

Decanted for 2+ hours and chilled slightly to around 57 degrees. Translucent to opaque deep ruby hues. Medium body and elegant legs. A bold nose with smoke, plums, raspberries, and hints of the higher alcohol content - The latter not being too distracting. Spice, dark berries, a dusty earthiness, and some alluring good ole' Walla Walla funk on the palette. Solid structure with velvety tannins. A well rounded wine with a long sexy finish. Drinks well now but would lay down for years to come.

Delicious. Big wine, big flavours; cherry and yeasty bread dough. Nicely balanced, lovely mouth feel and roundness;l long, long finish. A great blend of that rustic-earthiness I expect of Sangiovese but with a really appealing elegance.

Similar to the bottle I had 6months ago but perhaps a little smoother. Dark cherry flavor really fills the mouth. There's an underlying freshness, decent acid, and a long satisfying finish.

Very nice! Red raspberry and cherry flavors along with some oak and a nice streak of tobacco. Underlying minerality grows towards the finish, which is fairly long. Not your grandpa's sangiovese -- vivid fruit in a new world style...tastes more like a good washington blend than like a chianti. Very enjoyable.
