A really nice pinot. Aromas of spices, dark fruits, and underbrush. Palate is resolved and smooth with subtle red fruits, some lavender, dried roses, and soil. A really nice value for $20.

Farmyard initially on the nose which blows away after a while to reveal red cherries and raspberries and some floral tones. Not a great concentration Some complexity on the palate a wee touch of blood, raspverries and earthy tones. Overall an honest wine some length good balance of acidity and tannins.

Dark ruby color with no lightening yet. Rather unevolved on the nose, showing mostly ripe raspberries and earth. On the palate, a well-extracted, somewhat rustic wine, but with good intensity of ripe fruit balanced by a healthy dose of acidity. Rather classic in style (not as modern as some of his more expensive wines). A recommendable Bourgogne rouge.

An extremely well made wine. Some oak poking out around the forward fruit. Grippy tannins. Needs another 3 years for tannins to subside and oak to integrate, fruit is still primary. One of the best Bourgognes I've tasted and at $25 a definite good buy.

Very, very good. Elegant, earthy, textbook Pinot Noir from Burgundy. Great food wine, great wine.
I even think this bottle may have been a teeny bit corked. Ever so slightly. Even having said that, a wonderful Pinot Noir from a fantastic vintage from a great producer. Balanced and elegant; what a wonderful wine!

Bright ruby color, slight earth tone on initial entry, perfumed and very fruit forward, more cherry than strawberry. Some wet stones in the finish, mild complexity. Compared to other 02 Bourgs I have tried, this had more fruit and less nuance. Delightful now. Day 2 however lost a little fruit. Considering more at $25.

Musty - very light - I am ashamed I did not get to this earlier - certainly drinkable but very light on the body and wondering what could have been...

quite dense and rich for this level. Good grip and mouth feel with nice cherry core and orange rind, minerality and earth on finish.

Surprisingly good, full, decent compexity, well rounded. Somewhat generic, typical 02, very nice.

Very fruity wine; raspberries, strawberries and firm cherries. However the wine lacks in complexity.

Velvety smooth with nice but not overly tight tannins. Earthy aromas with just the right balance of fruit.

Good, deep colour; has that Burgundian feel, with chunky, chocolate overtones; buxom, forward, not the subtlest. dense, packs a punch. 13
