very pale salmon color. drank a glass with dinner over consecutive nights. the nose still has some nice minerality followed by citrus and strawberry notes. the palate is mostly citrus and minerality with the acidl being a little bit prominent. there is still some fruit here but it is past its peak.
Found a bottle of this in the wrong corner of the cellar, thought it previously consumed! So while unexpectedly aged, this showed well. Served with a butternut squash, quinoa and mushroom dish. There was a tough of maple in the dish and the more firm cinsault did well against that. Nice acidity to the wine, lighter salmon color. An engaging rose. Likely better earlier as the fruit definitely wanted to lead here.
I'm a fan, great for a hot day. Incredible QPR, definitely should have bought more. I will remember next time the email comes on this one. Smooth, bright and crisp come to mind among other things. Good acidity as well.
All around excellent bottle of Rosé. Very crisp and yet the mouth feel was more viscous than others. Nose of strawberry, some floral components, and a hint of spice. Palate much the same...having a hard time placing the fruit, perhaps more apricot than strawberry. Definitely great minerality, refreshing wet stone rounding out the medley. Very pleasant.
Everything you want in a hot-day rosé -- or a rainy-day rosé, for that matter, as was the case with us this week. Fantastic on Day 1, it actually lasted very well into Day 3, when we revisited it. Gorgeous color, good minerality, stone-fruit and lemon zest notes.
Pretty pink salmon color. Light on it's feet with bracingly good acidity. Some mild yeasty flavors. Bright, clean and easy drinking. There is some minerality in here which is one of the hallmarks of a Garagiste wine. Not much complexity, but a real nice summer swilling socializing sum.
As so many of the other reviews say - I should have ordered more. Well priced and perfect for summer. I found a group of chanterelles in the woods, sautéed them and braised some radishes, and opened this pale, pale Rose. Wow, summer heaven. Acidic, with an underlying sweetness. Balanced and a little complex.
