Pale yellow, clear. Green & red apples and sherbet. Rich, creamy and fruity mouthfeel with enticing bubbles. Light bodied, off dry with a fresh acidity - so nicely balanced and with a long fruity finish. Definitely more sherbety than 2009 - and even better.

I was at the estate on the day of the third bottling run (and final for this vintage) of this juice. I have to say it's one of my favorites of theirs in years; that could simply be because the freshness overwhelmed, but I don't think so. There's a brightness and personality to the fruit this year that seems to really put it in a different class from prior releases. The fruit for this bottling comes from some land that's been in the family for generations (old vines, too) in Trezzo Tinella, a region with very steep slopes and a wild, almost overgrown air about it. Lovely, superb typicity. Drink thru 2012

Best Moscato I have tasted. Very nice with strawberries and Robiola-cheese.

Very nice, light, frizzy Moscato. Pears, sherbert. Off-dry and really a treat. (Must..remember...to...buy...more...of...this.)
