Dark purple hues turning violet at the rim with a nose of ripe cherries, plum, and smoke. The palate has a body that's full and supple with a velvety texture featuring ripe dark cherry, vanilla, butter, dark chocolate, and coffee riding on a finish with hints of smoked oak and spice. Delicious for an everyday treat. Drink now until 2015.

Very impressed with this! A solid wine, with a nice bouquet, enjoyable taste with a distinct and elegant character. Extraordinary effort for the price!

With Sue, Jen & me in va. Tasty wine with lots of spice box, vanilla and red fruit. Best with the Boston roast chicken, where the spice box comes to the fore. Also very good with the red potatoes with dill, although much more primary. On its own has some chocolate and bell pepper as well. Would rebuy.

Very dark crimson colour. Nose is dominated by coffee and vanilla tones; there is dark, plummy fruit underneath, not yet fully emerging to the surface. Palate is almost full bodied and is well balanced; it also has that New World type of sweetness that I am not a big fan of. Good length. Well made wine, tastes good, but it is just so predictable and lacks originality. Almost like drinking perfume.
Good wine, but you can find better options for the same price. I felt more alcohool than I'd like and it wasn't fruity and tasty as a Merlot should be.

Color: Dark crimson (translucent) Nose: a little shut down (maybe too early), dark fruits, bell pepper or similar greenness, black pepper, bittersweet chocolate, smoke Taste: dark fruits and dark cocoa with some greenness carrying throughout Overall: medium bodied wine with nice complexity at the price point, medium++ finish, would buy again

A big brooding Merlot with inky color. Noticeable chocolate and plum with spices as well. Beautiful nose. At peak, drink up.
