We liked it with grilled pork tenderloin. Garnet colored, but tasted younger than it looked. A bit of earth and slightly elevated acidity. Tannins have melted away and nice dark fruit shows through.

Consistent notes. Seems to be drinking better now. More in balance. Lots of pine and tree sap in the nose. Finish is still a bit short. But good overall.

consistent with earlier notes. Had it next to a 2003 Auxerre, which was much fuller. Should save remaining bottles for several more years to see how this evolves.

Not sure what is with all the low scores. I thought this wine was good. Not great and maybe a tad overpriced but good. There was tyPical terrior on the nose. Certainly on the more acidic side with typical NSG minerality. Curious to see how it evolves over time. Pinot drinkers looking to find lots of oak and fruit won't find it here but they should generally be looking outside of burgundy anyway. Agree there is a tight finish but hope this will settle with time.

Tart and unbalanced with a surprising lack of focus and territorial expression in the fruit, this wine is not delivering at the moment. One can only hope that the wine will come together with a bit more time. A little disappointing from this top estate.

Deep purple. At first heavily reduced, but air didn't help, and the wine remained unharmonious and clumsy. May ameliorate with some bottle age, though.

Pale; fresh red fruit; crunchy, frisky, sappy; needed time to open out. Better by itself.

Garnet. Rather moderne, slick, but with air attractive gamey overtones, plump, supple. Good to drink now, with room to improve over next three years.

Grapey, ripe, blue flowers. It has an NSG note about it. Nice to smell, not much on finish. Tasty juice.
