  • Made in the New World style. It features more fruit and berries than terroir. Light to medium bodied, hinting at Cru Beaujolais. Raspberries, pomegranate, and some cherry, along with black and herbal tea notes dominate throughout. Finishes with light, fine tannins. Decent balance.

  • Easy drinking. Reasonable complexity and body to accompany pot roast. Very pleased with this bottle at $13.

  • Tasted double blind. A nice easy wine, bit of vanilla, some cherry on the nose, also cherry on the palate, a bit of tannins to give the wine some structure. Nice 10€ (in Finland) wine!

  • Somewhat clear, dark cherry color. A bit closed nose with aromas of dark fruits, bilberry, raspberry, some plums, a little cherry and a hint of mixed spices. Initially surprisingly light, lively and fresh for a Southern Rhône red, showcasing lovely fruit flavors of dark berries, cherries and pepper-driven spice. Medium-bodied with moderate, bright acidity and fine, ripe, slowly creeping tannins. The wine gains some weight with air, but still remains rather light and sophisticated. Lovely freshness. Medium-length finish with peppery spice, alcohol warmth, acid-driven berry fruit and a hint of minerality. Though the fruit flavors fade, the slightly bitter spiciness persists for a long time.

Not so big and succulent as Southern Rhône reds tend to be, but this is not a bad thing: this is a lovely, elegant and drinkable allrounder. A good purchase at 9,99€.

  • Consumed at a restaurant with great service and food. Soft and easy drinking for a grenache-syrah combination, that’s not very old. Aromas and flavors of cherry, raspberry, spice. Good balance and acid. Not especially complex, but it is a quite suitable pairing companion with a most wonderful dish of risotto and wild mushrooms.

  • Annonce un millésime plus souple et fruité que 2007 il me semble. Fort honorable pour 14 $. Il me semble particulièrement réussi.

  • RP(85), WS(86) : Ruby color beauty. Cherries and red fruit and spicy aromas of pepper can be felt. Soft tannins point advantage is due to the easy-drinking. Women seemed to like it but too simple to me.
