not the best but surprisingly drinkable for a wine that's supposed to be 10 years past it's window I couldn't imagine a shiraz from 2007 being that bad

Clear deep ruby with medium rim. lean nose of medium intensity that is fully developed. First off I get a really off putting blast of nasty vegetal smoke like dried grass being burnt & it never really leaves me. Below that the fruit emerges, black fruit marmelade, herbs & medicinal notes. Dry, medium + alcohol, flavour intensity, tannins & body. Medium acidity. Some fruit, spice & vegetality on the palate. Acceptable

violet... nose - liqorice, milk, marshmellows. medium accidity, floral with vanilla hints - after decnatation liqorice disappeares. First and the last time.

Jammy on the nose, with fake-y floral, strawberry and fruitcake aromas. Palate is grapey and harsh with a dash of spice. Virtually no tannin and hardly any finish (thank god). More like a artificial, manufactured beverage than a wine. If you want cheap Penfolds spend the extra 2 bucks and get Koononga Hill. This is box wine in a bottle.

This wine has decent structure and fruit for the price, it is a bit "jammy" for my taste but overall a pretty pleasant experience, definitely worth the price.

No! Definitely not my wine. Acidic and simple. Does not provide much enjoyment. A wine to get drunk on that lacks finesse and structure. (3 liter bag-in-box)

Drank this a few nights back. I recall a good nose that opened up on the palate after some time sitting in the glass. A bit on the thin side, however. Not bad at all for $8.

Fajny owoc w nosie, ale ultny. W istach slotkie toffi, suszona śliwka, brakuje trochę kwasowosic na koniec. Średnie.

Very soft and jammy, flabby, no structure very disapointing for the Penfolds name

Test av halvflaske-viner. Saftig lukt og smak, fast avslutning, bær og mynte, litt akloholpreg, rips, stram, lakris. skivebom til pizza

Dark purple color. Blueberry nose. Tastes of blackberry and earth with a heavy oak treatment. Simplistic finish. Dry tannins.
