This btl performed amazingly well. 9 yrs of age and still not showing any signs of maturing...
In spite of much suffering from KAZE (flu/cold) I could enjoy this exceptionally well balanced golden wine with a perfectly balanced triangularity of refined sugars, delicious fruit and fine acids.
Lipton tea, jasmine and other signature Muscat aromas.
Wife frowned: "sweeeeet, yuck"
Glass btl at amazing Cuscina Tredice Avrilo in Tokyo.

Honey coloured fragrant nose of honeysuckle and peach evolves into a more complex tropical fruit palate with traces of pineapple and papaya. Lengthy lingering finish that is remarkably fresh exhibiting notably appropriate acidity.

Light honey yellow coloured, pretty white flower and honeysuckle nose. Refreshing flavours of tropical fruits as well as peaches and honey abound long savoury finish.

One glass from half-full glass-bottle at April 13 (Tokyo) Love songs can be written when drinking this. Tonight it sported a fantastic jasmine and Lipton Yellow Label nose and and displayed the usual brethren of spicy aromas twirling with fantastic acids and sugars, great fruit and long finish, complex and multifaceted layers... Married bianca mangiare and grappa ice cream. Wife: "mmm great nose, but I really don't want to taste it." Will happily have it also the next time :-) (Too expensive...)

One glass from glass bottle at April 13 (Tokyo) This is simply the best Moscato wine so far in my life. Subdued character and zesty acids cement the foundation for the flowery, fruity and densely spicy (trocadero, curry, cardamom, cinnamon) structure that is wildly erected here. I find this wine a fair bit over priced on the market, but a glass at the restaurant for $10 after a fantastic dinner is acceptable. 93 tonit thanks to marriage with bianca mangiare and grappa ice cream. Wife: 70p and a frown.

Non-Blind. One of the last glasses from glass-bottle at Restaurant April 13 in Tokyo. Golden color. Blooming but nevertheless slightly subdued. Muscat-perfumed, wide nose sporting jasmine flowers, figs and hints of botrytis (could be wishful thinking). On the palate, fine levels of acidity balance the syrupy sugars. Still very young. Will happily ask for it also after next dinner there. Recommended. Wife: 75p (as for all sweet wines.)

Non-Blind. Second glass from glass-bottle at Restaurant April 13 in Tokyo. Golden color. Slightly subdued but nevertheless Muscat-perfumed, wide nose. On the palate the first impression is the most surprising: There is a good level of acidity here. The wine is refined, balanced and still very young. Will happily ask for it again after next dinner there. A commendable choice by them to keep it on the wine list.

This wine is exquisite. Beautiful delicate tropical fruit nose is followed by a a melange of honeyed peach and tropical fruits and finishes very fresh and clean.

Creme brûlée nose, quince and apricots. Not as good as the bottle I had in Italy last year but very good nonetheless. Very sweet.

Annual Pilgrimage to Piedmont; 10/5/2012-10/7/2012 (Piedmont, Italy): Dark caramel in colour. Good density, supple wine a touch light on the acidity which fails to keep the sweetness in check. Quite enjoyable but not special 89
