Mörkt röd med svag tegelnyans. Inte helt klar. Höga tanniner. Förvånansvärt fin frukt fortfarande. Tydliga tertiära aromer. Cederträ, lite tobak och multna löv. Mycket bra.

Young, i'll hold the other bottle until 2025. Complex fruit, anis, but some evolution showing as well. Tannins softening but still strong, not harsh. A bit concentrated, but still Barolo.

Medium red; nose quite neutral; attack is nice, a bit neutral, the comes tannins and ends quite dry; somewhat deep fruity aftertaste; probably needs a lot of air/decant and/or time; right now a closed showing

Very beautiful and complex bouquet with dark forest fruits, licorice, minerals, beautiful oak, anise and ….. cola. On the palate still dark fruits, leather, oak, beautiful acidity, and juicy, slightly drying and sticky tannin. Already a beautiful and complex mature wine, but with many years ahead. Until 2022+ should be no problem.

Open label. unspecific nose of grenadine, tobacco, and leather. The mouth is full, plain, a real energical nebbiolo as you expect. Vivid, spicy, fine tannins long ending. The mineral style of the Piemond. Very noble without concessions. To young 91-93

Tastes very young. Darker garnet coloured. Quite powerful. Classic Nebbiolo flavours, no oak - not super complex and there's some alcoholic heat there. I respect the wine, but just not really feeling it. Would like a bit more elegance.

Toast for Hugo before NYC marathon (at Chanoch Reichenberg): dark red-purple colour classic Barolo earthy-fruity aroma with spicy-floral hints medium-full bodied, grip tannins, too tight, very young wine, good acidity and harmony, sweet cherries, mellows in the glass, but too tannic at the moment. requires further ageing of 2-4 years at least, then will be much better.

Nose : licorice, menthol, rose petal, medicinal herbs, chrysanthemum Palate : sweet cherries, earth, a hint of tomato, a hint"Po Chai Pills"(on the 2nd day)
Too tannic at the moment. Compared to Dagromis 2007, this is better on the mid-palate and has more expressive aromas. But at the same time more tannic. I can only give these two 90. Not quite impressive.

Prepared by my friends. He opened the bottle 9 hours and then recork before our dinner. Tasted vertically with Dagromis 2007. It showed a lighter weight and softer style. Surprisingly less powerful than 2007. Quite open and fresh licorice and rose petal aroma. The taste was a bit weak and showed no obvious character as most entry level Barolo. Drank smoothly over the dinner.

Medium garnet. Very expressive nose of strawberry, red cherry, raspberry, florals and hints of va that do not annoy at all. Medium-bodied with soft tannins, balancing acidity, nice fruit and a long aftertaste. Surprisingly approachable for such a young Barolo, but can keep for many more years.

I Nonni Fall Tasting: Nice stuff with rose petals, ripe fruit and spices. A balanced effort with medium to long finish. Picks up some vanilla flavors on the finish. Not a powerful wine but plenty there and should age for over a decade or more.

Some floral, some cherry, and (like another taster noted) sundried tomato. This wine is still an infant- the tannins still too grippy for the fruit and the nuance to really come through. Bright acidity, sandalwood, toast, and florals in the mouth with a tart cherry follow through. Med long finish.

Gaja Tasting, Cellier Wine Club. This was a pleasent surprise, since it was on par with the rest of the wines tasted, despite costing less than half as much. Medium garnet. Surprisingly expressive and continuously evolving nose, with herbs, raspberry, wet forrest floor, framboise, hints of smoke and strawberry. Somewhat pinot noir-like. Medium-bodied, with vibrant fruit, firm but excellent tannins and balancing acidity. Long aftertaste. Already enjoyable with a long life ahead.

Garnet with a tawny rim. Complex nose evolving over time. Started with leathery & meaty notes, shifting to flowers and dried tomatoes. Mostly red fruit present on background with well blended in oak. Elegant but also powerful with bright acidity that brings freshness and balances generous alcohol. Quite tannic needing possibly 6 more years to really blossom.

Elegant and quite smooth for being a barolo, but that´s the problem. I was expecting more power and depth. This is a standard barolo, nothing more or less, what a pity...:-/

a very elegant wine, nose is good, not great, some hints of vanilla, taste comes alive after ca two hours in decanting, lots of licorice, vanilla, smooth tannins. But, and its a big but... im missing taste. im missing tannins, im missing fruit. medium finnish. this is a quite pricy wine, so its not something id buy again. however it was better to food than on its own... so a bit hard to rate... but ok. no more

Lots of licorice on the nose. Feels quite modern, lacking acidity, too much oak and very bitter tannins.
