This is the most modern of the Cigliuti wines due to the oak. Amazing clarity and focus in the wine and you can really taste the Neb and Barb, neither of them fighting for the spotlight in this wine. Exceptional.

Fresh sweet cherry with forest floor moss. Even mouth with less fine and drying tannins. A great deal of structure but cannot quite decide what it wants to be.

Again, great bottle. This wine is expertly made and is a beutiful balance between the spicey Barbarea and rich Nebbiolo fruit. Excellent depth and finish. Very polished but very pricey.

The Cigliuti family has amazing talent when it comes to wine. This Langhe Rosso is unbelievably good. It is captivating with is depth and power of aromas and flavor. Definitely tastes more of Nebbiolo though it is equal parts Neb/Barbera. The tasting note from hennlund is spot on.

High price for a Langhe Rosso, but it is well worth it. I learned only afterwards that this is a 50/50 mix of Nebbiolo and Barbera, and that explains a lot. The Nebbiolo elements dominate the picture, with flowers, roses, some liqourice etc, but it has a darker and smoother fruitiness that I imagine is a result of the Barbera. Rich in the mouth and with a long dry finish. Excellent wine, want to put some in the cellar. Enjoyed with a slow roasted shoulder of lamb, great match
