Meget pen flaske med tennis ekspressiv CS frukt, tobakk og edelt tre. Til å begynne med flott frukt, deretter litt grønn og stilkete snerp. Frukten er helt magisk, strukturen trenger mat

Old-school claret. Starting to develop some mature flavors but the tannin is still thick and furry. Smooths out a little in the decanter, but not enough. At least another 5 years away from readiness.

Getting brickish. Classic older Bordeaux nose of sandalwood, old leather, tobacco & the Graves element of earth & stone. Tart red currant fruit wrapped in a mineral cloak. A very metallic, tart finish. Nice, not great.

Purchased on vacation at a wine shop in Paris in 1999. Served with quiche. Decanted for 45 minutes. Medium bodied and medium red, with very slight bricking at the edge. Fairly muted note initially with aromas of earthiness and perhaps mushroom...later, the nose opens and reveals tobacco. On the palate, red fruits, raspberries, and a nice tartness. Well balanced after 60-90 minutes in the decanter allowed it to relax from its initial tightness. Drinking quite nicely right now...seems to be hitting its peak and should stay there for 2-3 more years. Was a great match with food!

like the last bottle I had, drinking really well. I scored it a point higher, mostly for it's wonderfully aromatic and tobacco/red fruit tinged nose. Medium/dark red, still young looking, only slightest lightening at edge. Very aromatic, with sweet cherries, red fruits, tobacco, minerals Medium bodied, balanced, silky texture. It has sweet red fruits, rasberries, cherries, cassis, a little mid-palate dilution. Overall an elegant, balanced wine. Light tannins and decent persistence on the finish.

Medium/dark red, still young looking, only slightest lightening at edge. Very aromatic, with sweet cherries, red fruits, tobacco, minerals-- If it wasn't for the tobacco aromas, I would have guessed it was Pinot. Medium bodied, balanced, silky texture. It has sweet red fruits, rasberries, cherries, cassis, a little mid-palate dilution. Overall an elegant, balanced wine that is more akin to Burgundy than Bordeaux but enjoyable and interesting. Very light tannins, decent persistence on the tangy finish.

Fortsatt ekspressiv nese, men frukten mangler dybde både på lukt og smak. Trenger mat.

Schöner, typischer Bordeaux in Geruch und Geschmack im alten Stil. Wenig Tannin. Sicher noch gut bis 2022

Was not impressed. I might have aged it way to much. Fruit had almost disappeared completely and all that was left was dry and unappealing wine.

The wine looks garnet colored. It smells like blackberry, blueberry, red currant, forest floor and toast.

Seems a bit tired. Almost no fruit, firm tannins with earth notes. Boring.
