Pale golden yellow. Applesauce / canned pear nose. Soft round mouth feel, with a slight astringency as it fades. A bit past its peak, but drinking nicely.

Light green apple nose. Medium weight with nice texture/mouthfeel. Some stone fruit and honey along with some minerality, but finishes with some bitter notes. Worked fine with smoked salmon and Le Tur cheese appetizers, but not a winner with the group. Greatest interest is for the varietal characteristics - takes you to the Rhone valley.

Traditional style, dry to off-dry, medium-bodied, fresh and flavorful, with apricot, honey, spice and mineral and a little bitter undertaste, with a medium finish

Very good roussanne. Good light gold color, long legs with notes on the nose of pineapple. Good thick creamy mouth feel and on the palate a little oak and some tart pear with a long minerally finish.

Beatuiful golden colored. Nose of apricots, peaches, and toasted marzipan. A full bodied white which shows such grace and balance. Still energetic with acidity to keep it bright and lively.

Very fine Paso roussanne. Rich and somewhat creamy but with a nice amount of acidity. Excellent balance between the ripe white fruit and a subtle spiciness. This is a great alternative to your every other day chardonnay.

Nice initial nose of fresh herbs, honey, white peach, pineapple and lime, which follows through with a medium-bodied mouthfeel with adequate acidity and just the barest hint of residual sweetness. Nice.

Tablas Creek Winery (Paso Robles, CA): Gorgeous nose with pears and honey (A-). Strange palate (B). Feels way too young at this point. Great potential.

Tablas Creek Annual Blending Seminar (Tablas Creek Cellar): Barrell sample. Nose: honey suckle, crushed rocks, lemon grass. Palate: melon, lemon grass, chalky minerality, lemon, +/-acidity. This showed very well & along with the GB was the star of the whites for me.

Pineapple and honeysuckle on the nose. Creamy, tropical palate. Best around 58 degrees. A wonderful and affordable white wine.

Still a baby. Marzipan with nuts and apricot notes on the palate in in the finish. Long, rewarding finish. Needs more time.
