Wow. This bottle is really something. Not sure where I got it from (didn't record the details in the database)...but it is drinking very well. Solid backbone...sufficient fruits...and a bit of heat still evident (but not excessively so). The wine has a very full taste to it.
CT is publishing a "drinking window" of 2013-18. I think this could go a few years further.

Tasting notes consistent with my 8/2013 notes, though this bottle seemed a little less ebullient than past tastings. My palate might have been off this night, so I'm not ready to say yet if it is in decline. Perhaps it's just entering a "dumb" phase. After an hour of air it was much more open and seemed to be more like previous tastings. Still a great wine, hoping it emerges from this phase and returns to its glory.

I have really enjoyed Scribe wines. Under the radar. I have never seen it served in a restaurant or cafe. This is deep, rich, while soft on the backside.

A blockbuster. Deep garnet, full bodied but still translucent with no color fall-off on the edges at all. No sediment. Big blackberry, plum and cassis aromas with noticeable but not overbearing dusty oak. Big black fruit flavor with balanced acid and fine, well-integrated tannins. It engaged every part of my tongue and didn't let go, all the way through a lengthy finish. A spectacular wine in every way. From the East side of Atlas Peak, bottle notes only 19 barrels were made... hoping I can track down a few more bottles. It was a stunner and should drink well for several more years.

Very good when first opened. Bright fruit, sweet tannins and a nice mouthfeel. As it aired, I tasted an odd corky flavor that was a little off-putting. I may buy more to try again.

Big wine; good structure; needs time to open but has very good potential; I think this can grow for 5-7 yrs. Good tannins, nice nose, black fruit, and good value

Wow. Phenomenal. Let decant for almost four hours. Last of five bottles. All were great and this was the best. Rich, brooding, classic cab! ????

Very nice, big bold cab, smooth with some acidity.
The wine was Garnet colored. The legs were slow, think & long.

Multilayered with moderate tannins. Long finish. Could probably go another 5 years or so.
