Finishing off my last bottle. sigh... tasty 2007 wine. Nose had hints of dark chocolate, vanilla and black berry. Rather delightful to sniff! Palate still has the pomegranate, perhaps some dark cherry and also black currant. The tannins are nicely pronounced giving a good tanginess in the mouth.

Continues to hold up well. Has evolved in the last few years of hanging out. Nose has oak, darker fruit and some earth notes. The palate comes across with pomegranate a little pepper and some black currant giving it a nice tart medium finish that does not have an alcohol finish. Tannins are balanced. Drinking very well know. Took about 10 min to open up enough to start drinking.

Very nice and integrated. Nose has oak, prune and some coffee. The palate comes across with pomegranate a little pepper, prune, and some black currant giving it a nice tart medium finish that does get overwhelmed by alcohol. Tannins are balanced. Drinking very well now

Took about 30min in the glass to open up. Drank as a sipping wine, and wasn't dissapointed. Nose was balanced with a traditional Cab Sauvignon or Bordeaux aroma. Not overly fruit forward, with oak and good tannins. Solid wine.

Decanted 30 min. Drank with NY strip, mashed potatoes and broccolini. This wine is as good as it will get. Beautiful cab nose, really reminded me of napa fruit from St Helena valley floor. Fruit forward with silky tannins and enough acid for a long finish. Slightly over oaked but tastes more like like a $50 cab for much less. For the price I will buy more if I can still find it.

PnP. On the nose this offers black cherry, cassis, cedar, and briar. On the palate, there is dried cherry, dried herbs, good levels of acidity, and well integrated tannins. The mid-palate has some dryness, but the herbs and black cherry offer a reasonable finish. A good weeknight drinker.

Ripe with high acidity to balance it out. Body and tannins both moderate, not overpowering. I enjoyed this but not as good as Merryvale 2007 against which I tasted it.

Lighter style of cab - some initial funk on the nose which dissipated after about an hour - modest tannins and red fruits - nice QPR makes it a good daily drinker

Popped and poured. Medium-plus black cherry hue. Upon first pour, a nice aromatic profile of tar and tobacco shows first. With a bit more air, black and red fruits show and are complimented by nice notes of mint, earth, and just a touch of oak. Medium-plus body. On the palate, this shows similar to the nose, with cherry, currant, herbs, and a subtle spice from oak. Overall, quite youthful and classically Sonoma in that it needs to rest for a few years before becoming more accessible, with tannins a touch astringent on the moderate close. Very nice and will be especially appreciated by those who enjoy the style.

I liked this. An unusual style for California that reminded me of a riper vintage of a Medoc upon opening. Red and blue fruits, roasted sage, cigar box. A couple hours of air took it more to the new world and muted the earthier tones. But an elegantly restrained and unexpected Cabernet overall.

this is a great $27 cabernet... Full body. definite berry flavors in the mouth with a bit of vanilla on the end. Just the right amount of tannins to give a smooth finish. Drinking really well right now.

This bottle needs to be decanted for 30mins or more before drinking. Good overall flavors but a touch light for a cab. This is a good 25-30 dollar bottle.

TR. Tight nose of blackberry currants, bramble, and cedar. Medium to full bodied, rich blueberries, black cherries, leather, black pepper, integrated tannins, and an almost long finish. Nicely done.
