This was definitely a bit thin, acidic, and had a huge mineral hit on the PnP. We gave it a while open and used it in the chanterelle mushroom sauce. Had it with homemade ravioli's with that rich mushroom sauce. This is where this wine shines. Pair with rich or creamy food and that acid cuts right through. Delicious when paired.

Poured a dark yellow. Fairly typically Chardonnay flavors, not oaky, but perhaps lacking a bit of freshness. I would consume sooner rather than later because I think it's on a downslope.

Darker yellow color, presumably due to age. On opening, the aromas were Chablis-like. After a couple hours, it was more cat piss Sauv Blanc. Acidic, "mineral", fruit is in the background. Slight astringent finish that I want to say is due to being past its prime.

I really like this Chardonnay made in the French Chablis style. Typically a red wine drinker but this 2003 vintage tastes fresh and minerally. I think this can most likely last several more years. Drank over a two day period at various temperatures (i.e. cold from fridge and warming over a 2 hour period). Tastes well cool and as it warms. This is a fantastically made wine. Wish I had more but only 1 more left.

Excellent. Started off nice and bright, great acid, and the dominant aroma was wet rock with a limestone/mineral flavour. Lemongrass was also there. Over time, green apple came out and joined the party. The finish was grassy and maintained its interest over a few hours of being open. Definitely reminded me in some ways of a nice white Burg.

Upon first glance, this Chardonnay seems to be holding up well with its clear, yellow gold appearance and showing no signs of its 10-year bottle age. On the nose, I can pick up wet stone with a hint of flint, lemon and lemon zest. The palate is more linear with its diminished sense of the lemon and lemon zest and finishes with a long mineral tenacity. Light to medium bodied, this is a perfect wine for summer drinking.
Drank over 4 hours...It has a little bit of the salinity and minerals that I like in white burgs but not enough and not much else, creamy hollow mid palate hollow finish, tasted to me like a stripped down $15 white burg. hopefully a bad bottle

No detailed notes. Great acidity and minerality. Light straw in color and medium legs. Round mouthfeel and some heft on the mid palate. Lemon on the nose and palate. Medium plus finish with an unusually smooth finish given the acidity. Very much enjoyed this bottle and glad I have 3 more bottles. Still has the structure to sit a couple more years.
A reasonable attempt at a Chablis. Tastes similar to a French Chablis, while being domestically produced. Can get better French Chablis, but maybe not at the same price point

Pretty good, though not quite up to Chablis standards yet. Doesn't uite hang together, though Clark Smith says that the 02 is only just coming into its own in 2010, so the 03 ha some way to go. Good acid in it, and counterpoints with some round Chardonnay flavours, if not quite harmoniously. I think this will go very well with a strong fish, rather than for drinking on its own. I'll try it with trout next time, I think.

Medium body. Aromas and flavors of light citrus, subtle earth, and stoney minerality. Dry finish with bright acidity. Chablis like in structure.

Very nice. Lemons and light fruit. Not overly oaked. Good acidity, nice balance. This could last a few more years

Took a little bit of time of letting the bottle sit open to come together as what I would agree to be a nice rendition of a French style chard.
