Same as prior TN's... This was an amazing value for $15 on close-out. Sad that it won't be around any longer. Second bottle was gone very quickly amongst friends.. This is a very nice little bottle of Pinot.

Ruby-garnet red, jeweled clear in the glass, translucent. Nose has some veggie, herbal notes, followed by good crushed black cherry. Components that make your mouth water. Solid frontal attack on the palate. Some astringent aspect in the mid-palate, but otherwise a nice light finish. TN's cite a burgundian quality to this Pinot, which I won't comment on, but it has something a little different on offer than the normal Calif Pinot. I enjoyed it with Salmon and Asparagus.

Floral, roses, cherries, cinnamon, fragrant, slightly lactic; light and refreshing, forward and primary, lacks depth and precision, decent length. A pleasant drink with pizza.

Much more understated than I was expecting, with varietally-correct notes of red fruits (cherry, strawberry) and brown spices (cinnamon). Light touch of oak and sensible level of alcohol (another bottle on the table from the same winemaker frightened me with its label references to 15% alc. and 100% new French barrels). Good acidity. A perfectly pleasing drink in a nicely restrained style.

Dinner party: Elements at the Sanctuary, Paradise Valley, AZ. Although the eating area had little light, this wine seemed light red in color. Aromas of cherry, flowers, persimmon, earthiness. Would not be considered a big wine. Seemed gentle and delicate in the mouth. A nice finish. It paired very nicely with Georges Bank scallops.

Terroirist Blogger Tasting #2 (David White's House): The nose screams delicious Pinot Noir. Bright cherries, lots of rasberries, and some wonderful funky, earthiness and dirt. On the palate, the wine is similar and super concentrated. Very, very young -- but fruit, tannins, and acids are perfectly in balance. This one will last for a long time.

Preferred the '07 Sequana Saramento Vineyard (granted I last tasted that over 1 year ago and this wine comes from the same vineyard) to this wine - Pop & pour with no splash decant. Cherry / strawberry / some floral and to a lesser extent earthy elements on nose. On palate, cherry / baking spice with supple tannins & silky mouthfeel - medium acids / body / finish - If opening now splash decant because it was a litttle harsh on pop & pour -89+ range.

PRIMA's Annual Pinot Noir Extravaganza: nose - cranberry, hay, dirt, nice nose, very funky, per lisa after sniffing, 'it's a real pinot' mouth - very delicate fruit, lightish, almost like ice tea. I am most curious if this will age well. My WOTN Still getting mental whiffs of it the following morning - the sign of a very good wine.

Sweet spice, sour cherry, a touch of oak, some Pinot funk, and a nice backbone of acidity. Overall an enjoyable wine that kept our interest.

Nice floral bouquet, although the acidic finish overwhelms the otherwise lovely cherry fruit.

Had at restaurant in Windsor. Jammy raspberry nose. More subtle taste - cherry, berry, oak. Subtle, a little thin. Nice.

Funky. Lighter styled. Burgundian. Really like the Sequana styling overall. Herbaceous but with lots of fruit to support.

Nice floral nose. Flavors of cherry, berries and a hint of cinnamon. A very solid Calif Pinot.

Fresh herbal (dill) and cherry nose. Spicy full bodied; flavors of cherry/berry, rosehips, cola, and cinnamon. Quite juicy and tasty.
