Grassy, herbal nose, cat's pee; citrus and mineral notes as well. On the palate saline, great acidity, grapefruit and lime fruit with Semillon adding a bit of flesh and richness. Tart, slightly bitter finish. Well made, refreshing and excellent value. I see no benefit in keeping this much longer.
Very expressive, new-world, lots of pyrazines, very fruity (passionfruit, melon), some added weight from 20% Semillon, soft, decent length. Decent wine but surely not what Bordeaux should be attempting to do.
This is the stunning dry white from the top Sauternes Chateau. Exotic nose with butter and marzipan aromas. Creamy on palate with some vegetality, freshness and balancing acidity. Fantastic value wine that is a joy to drink.
