  • Cork was in excellent shape. Medium dark with clear edges. Lovely delicate aromas of black cherry, black raspberry, and baking spices. Medium to light body that seemed to actually fill out as it opened. Palate flavors confirmed the aromatics with surprising persistence of the complex fruit/spice interplay. Altogether gorgeous and at its peak. Well done!

  • Beautiful dark color. Nice nose of dark fruit. Delicious and well structured. Juicy dark fruit with present acidity. Well rounded. Drink now and enjoy.

  • Slow ox'd for a few hours before serving. Dark ruby red, transparent all the way. The nose is a combination of black and red fruit with cloves and other spices. Full bodied Pinot, this is a blast of black (bing) cherry and strawberry on the palate. Maybe a bit fruitier than other 2008 offerings from Oregon, but certainly open for business right now. Medium, but present acidity and more spice notes accentuate the long, tannic finish.

Quite balanced and one of the unique 2008 wines ready to drink now.
