Is it possible to feel a wine it it bouquet? The mouthfeel and the finish all on the nose. Raspberry and cherry infused stone. Rocks and fruit. Ethereal. It is impossible for this wine to get better.

Savory nose of red fruit, leather, menthol, spices.
So silky on the palate with black cherry fruit accented nicely by Tuscan earth, tobacco, saddle leather, and minerals. Long finish of more cherry fruit and earth.
In a great spot right now at 15 years of age. Will likely hold for another few years. Drink now - 2024

Dried roses dried cherry, baked clay, a ton of eucalyptus and wild herbs, and meaty notes. Very interesting. Medium bodied, fresh finish and sandy tannins. The fruit is alive and sweet, with a sanguine underpinning to everything. The finish is a touch hot, but long and delicious. At peak and should stay here for the next few years.

Dark garnet with no bricking. Dried red fruits (currant, raspberry), dusty cherry, cedar and iron shavings on the nose; dried red fruits on the palate. Medium bodied with great, food-friendly tannins and acidity. Falls off on the back of the palate and finish, but who cares - really in a great place at the moment, and went well with a terrific Parmesan-cream sauce. Delicious.

Earthy nose with a hint of warm current. Balanced front to back, tannins are very soft, medium to full bodied. Red berry flavor with a hint of smoke and earth.

Ageing well, showing red fruit. In a good spot right now. Took a good hour to open up. Dried fruit, spice, fruit. Maintains grest structure. Me - 92, Wife - 93

Longue finale. Délicieux ! ...avec ou sans bouffe...le fruit domine. Prêt à boire...91+

A medium to full-body, deep red wine. Good dark fruit flavor of dried fruit, cherry, tomato. Good acidity pairing this wine well with barbqued striploin steak. A food wine with a few years left. A little over-priced for the quality, compared to other Brunellos.

Enjoyed over three nights. All the right notes on the nose: black cherry, dried cranberry, some oak; but thin and tannic. Edges rounded off over the next two days, but never achieved the body or finish we anticipated.

Clear medium red with strong brown and orange hues. A nose of wood, barnyard and leather. To taste, the wine is very smooth with well integrated tannins. A medium body with a layered and complex palate of old oak and subtle red fruits.
Reminds me of a vintage Rioja. Very elegant verses some of the big Italians. All about the subtely rather than power. Highly acidic.
Showed serious fade both in colour and taste reminiscent of a 20-30 year old wine. I cannot believe this is only a 2006 as could easily pass as a 1996 or older.

Tasted blind as part of WSET Level 3 wine class. Light garnet in colour. Pronounced nose led by cedar, game, savoury and barnyard along with sour red cherry, stewed fruits, dill, mint, tobacco, nutmeg, medicinal and charred wood. High acidity and tannins. Medium plus body. Red and black cherry on the palate with earth, tomato, nutmeg, tobacco and cedar. Very good wine.

Tasted this at a B-21 event this afternoon. By far my #1 Brunello at the tasting. Shows a gorgeous nose that is full of floral scents and hints of cherry and spice. Medium-to-full bodied and bursting with ripe, sweet cherry and raspberry flavor. Layered and complex, the spicy finish lingers on for minutes. Impeccably balanced, with beautifully integrated tannins. A magnificent Brunello that is ready to drink now. 95+ 50+5+14+17+9=95

Un peu acidulé à l'ouverture mais le vin se dévoile dans toute sa splendeur après environ 30 minutes. Puissant et équilibré, ce très beau Brunello se boit tout seul. Excellent!

Deep garnet red in the glass. Cedar and juniper on the nose. Soft tannins with some chewiness delighted us. Rounded with fresh acidity.

Flowery raspberry and cherry with an almost explosive long bracing iron finish. Great food wine.
