Wine is deep, dark purple with blue/red tone and a very thin edge. The nose is mixed berries with some alcohol and a touch of oak. Flavor is big on fruit with heavy mixed berries and a touch of light chocolate. The finish stays on the front of the tongue with light spice and heavy fruit. This wine is mostly about fruit.

Wow... Was really expecting a mediocre bottle of wine for the 10 buck price, but this was a surprise. Some cherry vanilla sweetness upfront with a tart tannic finish.. Nice balance.. Decent body... Great blend of cab and merlot.. Great for the price

Opaque purple color. Light blackberry, liquor and herbal nose. Medium bodied with earth and chocolaty tannin. This might be the best wine under $10 ever.

Consistent notes with similar profile to right bank Bdx at a qpr price. Dark and red fruits dominate the nose and palate with subtle baking spice and some underbrush. Great acid/tannin balance and has a medium finish with sweet tannin. Unbelievable at this price point. Nothing really fades after the first day and that is without any argon gas or refrigeration.

Everything you would expect in a very young Right Bank blend and more. Actually some terroir in this wine and was really peasant as a stand alone. Good fruit and interesting aromatics for an inexpensive (dirt cheap) wine. Glad I trusted my instincts. May get even better.

This is a pretty darn good grocery store wine. Maybe Washington state is where we should head when looking for value priced wines that deliver. I would have to say this wine is very complete. Not a blockbuster, but everything we expect is here in noticeable quantities. There is a ripe, plum and cranberry fruit profile. Plenty of dark purple color. Rich black cherry and oak nose. It seems the combination of Cabernet and Merlot really works here. Nice integration of alcohol. Ripe tannins. Not huge in the mid palate, but who is asking? The finish is a little short, and dry, would like to more fruit at the end, but all in all, will buy this again.

Soft, attractive. Nose and palate are consistent. Easy drinking with enough character to justify twice the price

Not much aroma. Dark cherry, hint of spice, some heat on the palette. Good, smooth, weekday wine. Good QPR.

Raspberry, cherry, and plum notes. Short finish, very slightly dry. Good wine for the price (7.99)

Normally a mid 80s but this is not very good with spice, bitter and a bit thin. Some fruit on the palate.

On the fruity side, not too intense taste (more on merlot side?) very good wine considering the pricemaybe need to let it breathe?

Tasted significantly better the second day it was opened. Not much flavor until aerated.
