New Year's Eve Party at the Rosas (Chez Rosa-Teixeira, Limmerston St, London): The wine needs time to open up and 30 minutes of decanting really helped it. Good time to have one and dont be put off by how restrained it is on open. Patieence pays off. Great meursalt. Rich wine with lots of nutty elements. Not as buttery as expected but still very elegant and i agree with the TN below that it is very balanced and that Mr Meadows got it wrong. Very nice. 94+

Really love this wine, I will buy all from any sellers. Love burghound, but he got this one wrong. Rich oily and viscous. Perfectly balanced, great fruit and structure, will go for long time. Lafon's Montrachet had more balance problems. Had with my friend ben, one of the great palettes and cellars of all time and he agreed. Great meursault

Really outstanding! Best bottle of Meursault I have had since dinner at Enoteca Pinciori in Tuscany, when we had a Coche Drury. Drinking incredibly well. Balanced, rich, almost oily, pear, white flowers and fruit. YUMMY!

Floral, sweet, buttery. Yummy and sweet. Not much structure. Kind of unsubstantial.

Trip to Burgundy; 3/20/2006-3/24/2006 (Burgundy): Tasting, brief note. Fatter fruit vs 2004 with less precision or energy. Good enough for the near-term.
