The nose shows plums, leather and tobacco. The palate shows dark berries and plums with a hint of dustiness, well balanced and not too tannic.

Good cab for the price. Smooth with medium tannins. Could cellar for another 2-3 years, but overall was nice simple cab, nothing complex.

Not much here for us. Overly oaked. Firm tannins; I'm sure that this bottle would go from average to good with a few years. Ignore me, though, as I had J. Bookwalter's Foreshadow Merlot a while back, and thought similar things...

A little lighter than I had pictured but good flavors of black fruit, with a little cherry in the mix. Light tannins, earth on the finish.

PnP'd showing dark color leading to saturated nose of plum/black cherry/black fruits, sweet oak and cassis flavors. Sweet attack with a clampdown of ripe and ready tannins that suggest further aging potential/need.

The wine looks Purple colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Blackberry, and Toast. It tastes like and Blackberry. The body is Medium/Full. The wine finishes Medium.

A friend and I tasted this at the Woodinville tasting room on 3/24/12. It had pleasant, restrained bouquet of black currant, blackberry, cocoa, cardamom and baking spice aromas. The palate was ripe, round and dry with flavors that followed the nose.
