  • Thought this was excellent, even more so when I looked up the (Garagiste) price. Nicely expressive nose (after a bit, the first few minutes were restrained) with lots of yeast and bread. Nice mousse and great refreshing mouthfeel, with lots of lemon crème and devoid of the sweetness which I usually find (and dislike) in inexpensive Champagne. Wish I'd bought more and can't wait to try the Brut Zero.

  • I maintain my earlier 2012 assessment. Comprised of 60% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, and 10% Chardonnay. Good mousse and effervescence, a very aromatic and yeasty nose, and lots of juicy fruit flavors. Crisp apple, and brioche, but more citrus in the flavor profile which I didn't notice in my initial foray. Long, dry, clean finish. Just another fine example of a Récoltant-Manipulant offering high quality Champagne with a great QPR. Limited distribution in the US. 91 Pts.

  • Medium to darker golden with plenty of tiny bubbles. A bit taut initially but opens after a brief period with pleasant aromas and rich flavors of white flowers, toast, green apple, and minerals. As expected, very dry on the palate and on the finish. Really very good.
