Deep red to purple in the glass, the nose has well balanced olive, plush plum and complementing rich oak characters.
The palate is ripe and mouth filling with smokey plum, understated blackberry and wispes of spice, a wine to drink over the shorter term based on the difficulties observed in the Yarra Valley during the 2009 vintage. Review Link - www.winereviewer.com.au (drink from 2012-2014)

Peter Bourne's Right Bank - Merlot and Cab Franc lead the way (Sydney): Colour Clear, ruby, medium intensity, legs Nose Developing medium intensity, clean, slight green/pyrazine, spice, cedar, perfurme, slight berry and an almost toffee/caramel oak Mouth Medium minus body, tannin, acidty, medium flavour. Bitter over slight red fruit, toungue coating phenolic, medium alcohol. A little too acrid, medium finish
