This wine really has filled out and developed over the past 6-9 months. Its just hitting its stride. Wonderful. Just a touch of oak but nice mouth filling flavors of pear, spice, stones and florals.
Balanced perfectly. Really a very nice bottle right now. Don't wait.

Didn't do a formal tasting, wish I had. Bright green and yellow apples, white flowers, bit of peach pit on nose. Broad, same fruit on palate with great balance. Bit of phenolic bitterness on finish but not offputting. Overall a lovely wine.

Really nice Pinot Blanc. Mark seems to be able to cookie cut nice bottles every single year without regard to vintage - which is why its called Freedom Hill Vineyard I seem to recall. In any event, tropical and mellon notes on the nose and palate with a rich mouth feel and long finish. Very Alsatian in style but a bit riper/younger/fresher (of course it is a 2010 - I have another bottle I will put away for 5 or 6 years and see what becomes of it).

Easter Wines with Family (Our House): Very pale greenish color. PNP, drank 1+ glasses over an hour. This bottle lacked some of the more tropical notes of the previous one, lots of earth, minerals, stone fruit and citrus on the nose. The palate is light bodied, tart, apple and pear and citrus, prominent acidity, mineral driven finish. Though this have decent fruit it is full of minerals and acidity. 89+ to 90pts.

An Evening with Mark Vlossak of St. Innocent: The 2010 Vintage (Luci Ancora, St. Paul, MN): Pale gold color. Drank 1 glass over 20 minutes. Orchard fruit, Light citrus, orange blossoms, slightly tropical, pineapple. The palate is light-medium bodied, apple, pear, citrus, pineapple, mild earth, nice minerality on the finish. Excellent balance, elegant, very refreshing. 90+pts.

A full-bodied pinot blanc. The nose is quite attractive, with gentle floral notes, some leesiness, and soft white fruits. While there's plenty of acidity, the wine is soft and quite broad across the palate, with less definition and mineral drive than I prefer. Decent length, with a hint of brown spice at midpalate.

Ripe stone fruit aromas with a slightly yeasty element. Peach flavors on palate accompanied by some reasonable background spice. Moderate length with some good finesses and textures.

Pale yellow in color, this wine has a leesy note to the stone fruit, apple, pear, and melon flavors. Some spice and minerality make it even more interesting. Very round in the mouth and dry on the finsh w/ nice acidity. I can't believe I'm sitting here sipping on it w/o some food! Mark V said he wanted to make a white to go with shellfish -- this could be it!
