Dorado con algún destello ambarino. Nariz intensa, expresiva, con algo de compota de manzana, toques de hierba de infusión, frutos secos, flores ajadas e incluso algún toque herbáceo. En boca entra bien, pasa fluido aunque con cierta densidad, no anda mal de acidez, amargos muy ligeros, de nuevo recuerdos a compota de manzana en el retronasal aunque la sensación en boca es seca, largo y bien definido.

Gold color. Enticing aroma: melon, macerated dried fruit, slight butteriness. It reminds me of automn leaf fall in its pacifying beauty. In the finsh, a sharp sting that you get in all oxidative wines. Medium bodied. Very enjoyable and quite complicated. The aroma is the best part, though admittedly hard to put into words, but that's probably a good indicator.

An unusual white wine (which is really the category of white wine that I like). Honestly don't have the words to describe this one. It's minerally, yet also full of bright fruit flavors. Certainly doesn't have the barnyard or even particularly nutty flavors of fino sherry, so I disagree with the previous taster, who mentions that only lovers of fino should try this one. In my mind, it tastes a bit more like an orange wine than a sherry of any kind (and I drink plenty of sherry).

This wine will frighten the pants off the unsuspecting punter, but as drinking wine without pants on can be quite fun it shouldn’t worry most of you. It is Palomino must sourced from Spain’s Alabariza chalky soils and spend 10 months under a floor yeast after alcoholic fermentation. It is 12% alcohol and has a few nutty and wheaten notes along with dried fruits and something sweet and floral and a note reminiscent of fresh mint. It is bone dry and has a crisp, salinity that cleanses the mouth. If you love Fino you’ll love this. If you hate Fino, put your pants back on, this one isn’t for you.
