A good bargain in PN. What I like about the south central coast PN is the dark color and weight of many of these wines. This one is dark, full of classic California Pinot Noir aromatics, but surprisingly nimble on the palate with good acidity, balance, lip-smacking flavor that tends toward sassafras/ licorice/gamey but isn't, but subtler. I shy away from the cola descriptor, but imagine some might invoke our national refresher.

Good drinking wine. Hot and spicy, surprisingly so for pinot. Fruits are dark and ripe: blackberry and blueberry. Acidity is present, but not developed enough. I would like a percent off the alcohol to make this truly delicious.

Thin to the point of being watery. Fresh berries on the nose, but taste doesn't back the aroma. A bit hot on the finish. Better alternatives in this price range.

Clean purple color. A combination of strawberry and cherries on the nose. Light to medium bodied with flavors of strawberries, raspberries and cocoa. Finish is slightly spicy with the right amount of acidity and a hint of dark cocoa. 88 - 89. Very good!

At this Price Point, it's a Surprise. It drinks like a $30 bottle of wine. I would recommend this Wine as a Wine for Events. Most Guests would feel they were served a higher end Wine.

As an every day taco wine this is pretty decent for a decent price. As others have said it would be more exciting if it was less than $15.
But as a reasonably priced CA Pinot that you can open as a second bottle or on a Monday night when you don't want to dip into the cellar, it's pretty good. No hangover prune smell, not too much alcohol, and not a tendency to taste corked.

The wine looks Rosy colored. The legs are Slow. It smells like Strawberry, Blackberry, Cherry, Stoniness, Alcohol/Hot, and Red Currant. It tastes like Black currant (cassis), Alcohol/Hot, and Sherry. The body is Medium. The wine has Fleshy texture. The wine finishes Medium.
PMcCullough: deep ruby red; nectar of the gods. Not an overly exciting nose but the taste is complex and silky smooth. Robust fruit with perfect balance of acid and tannins. Cheers!

Spicy black cherry cola and currant nose with a slight bit of earthy complexity. Ripe fruit palate leaning towards the black end of the spectrum with currant and plum and not much complexity. Lacking in acidity and grip. Your standard slightly overripe, simple CA Pinot. Drinkable though, and probably a good value if you enjoy the style.

Good if you like american pinot. A raspberry punch in your nose and in your mouth.
But too sweet for me !

Sweeter than many pinots in my experience. Licorice? Short finish. Smell of dry tobacco.

Dark cherries. Some acidity. Legit CA Pinot markings. A good value around $18, I'd have more enthusiasm south of $15. A poor man's Sanford.
