One of the best champagne at the price range. Oxidative nose. Medium to full body with baked apple, minerals and tarts. Good structure with medium + acidity. Awesome.

Dark straw, nice mousse. Lemony, yeasty mid-weight profile. Some appleskins, chalk, tart apple, some nuttiness. A bit high on the acidity. Not a new release on this bottle which I bought in 2011.

Clear yellow with a hint of silver. Apples, lemon and mineral rule the nose on this one. Very steely and dry in the mouth and on the finish. A very good low dosage Champagne, fresher then a previous bottle.

WineFanatic Champagne Offline (Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind – light straw colour. Fresh and crisp nose with notes of green apple and citrus. On the palate this was very crisp and dry with loads acidity following the green apple and stony chardonnay flavours. This took some time to open up but when it did it was very enjoyable. This needs a few years. Excellent. 90+

A bright gold with a little bit od grey. Caramel, oak, apple and bread dough but very little mousse. Deliicious dry caramel and creamy flavours and a dry but slightly rich finish.

Similar to tasting note on 10/16/11. Very effervescent. Perhaps not quite as "wow" but officially excellent nonetheless. Sorry I did not buy more. Lesson learned.

If you like a yeast/doughy Champagne, this is for you. A big cherry, cinammon nose leads into a creamy and savory body. Lots of bread like flavors in the mid-palate. Perhaps a touch of heat in there but that's being picky. Delicious.

nose - floral, perfumed, spearmint, yeasty mouth - long mouthwatering acidic fruity finish is the salient feature. Striking minerality. Grapefruit citrus. Intense and enthralling. Seems i liked this quite a bit more the 2nd time around.

Bought this mid mat 2011 at a bottle shop in fortitude valley Brisbane. Very good aperitiff. Fine bead. Not a big yeasty style. Lovely creamy mouthfeel. Long. Good acid. Lovely wine. $115. 12%

My bottle; opened at Roux. Generously endowed with fruit and biscuity flavors and showing some age, yet oddly tart on the finish. Good brunch wine.

June 2009 Michael Skurnik Wine Event, New York (Tribeca Grill, NY): Light lemon color. Intense, interesting nose of incensy spices and baked apples. Good intensity and length on the palate, good acid balance. Very pretty.
