Hard to believe this an $18 bottle of wine. Very balanced wt perfect dry cherry taste wt a long spice finish. Let it breathe for an hour & I believe it was worth a couple of pts looking back at previous notes.

I could not be more disappointed in this wine. From a winery who holds itself out there as a high quality producer, this is a real let down. Nice nose, nice But out of balance, no complexity, coarse, bitter, astringent, unpleasant rubber on the mp, and a somewhat lingering unpleasant finish. Over maceration is my guess. A real bummer...and I have 3 more to drink. For all the family know how, Mark Berringer missed badly on this one. I will note the other three bottles as we open them.

Very good cab all the way around. Great nose out of the gate. Excellent mouth feel with fine tannin, casis, spices, cedar ect. Very well balanced and silky finish. Doesn't need more time but should hang in there for a few more years

A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied Cab with black cherry. currants, chocolate and spice on good finish, a solid wine.

Great QPR for a every day under $20 Califorina Cab. Comes out of the bottle on a P&P very nicely. 60% Napa, 40% Sonoma in a entry price point for Artesa. Medium depth ruby in color. Sweet dark fruit, some crushed wet stone and vanilla/oak on the nose. Like many 2006's from Califorina it has some tannic backbone to hold up sweet dark cherry and blackberry flavors, with a hint of licorice.

Tons of dried plum/stone fruit. Wasn't as great of a bottle as the one I drank a few months ago, but still very good.

Excellent depth and character with strong nose and long finish. Drinking very well now and sadly will be difficult to locate this vintage again.

Same as my notes from 12/8/12 only the last 4 mos have given the bottle even more maturity. Tastes more pronounced.

Really like this wine. Drinks so easy. Great price for the quality. I think that's part of why I score it highly.

Price per dollar, quite good. Not FULL, but full flavor. This is a classic California cab.

Full fruit with sharp tannins that made it really pop in your mouth. Slight alcohol flavor. Really drank well, better than the last bottle.
