This is one classy Cab right now.Just knocked the screw cap off this little fella and wow, packs the full punch. Long, nicely aged but a fresh dry mouthful of grape-driven yumminess. Lucky people still have more of this to drink. I have just one more bottle!

Bags of old fashion structure and class. Dry red fruits, loads of sand paper tannin, almost rough, but the underlying fruit is pure and ripe. Very young and exceptional value at $15.

Nose of black fruit and graphite. Medium-bodied, with flavours of redcurrant, raspberry, cola and a hint of barnyard. Sweet, but with balancing acidity. Short finish.

Ripe cherry, vanilla essence, pronounced but approachable tannins. it is very approachable your cab sav, ok to drink now, but better within the next 3 or 4 years.

Light to medium bodied cabernet sauvignon in the cool climate style. Starting to fade, colour, fruit, wood etc but enjoyable with food. 88
