Sweet red dessert-type wine with hints of cherry and strawberry on the nose. Strawberry and red fruits dominated the flavors with a hint of melons (think more cantalope than other melons). A very good party wine for all occasions or with grilled hamburgers for a cookout.

Bright red in color. Aromas of sweet red fruit. Taste is very sweet with a spectrum of fruit flavors. We bought it with a mind to drink it in the spa, but this doesn't even measure up to spa wine. If you like sweet, fruity wine, chill it, pop it and turn down your sensory receptors.

Red apple, melon, strawberry candy flavors that have an irksome artificial edge to them. Zero structure, and tastes as if one of those cheap juice-substitute fruit drinks had been spiked with alcohol. Avoid unless your aim is to get drunk using whatever is at hand. I don't know why they're pushing this stuff; it gives the winery a bad name.

A very sweet red dessert wine with dominant flavors of red apple skins with some citrus and melon. The aroma is refreshing and more melon-like, but still dominanted by red apple. I would recommend a tasting because the flavor is very different from many other wines, but don't buy a bottle. It's sweeter than juice and way too harsh after awhile on the palate. Red Jello shots all the way. This wine is made from Native American grapes which are sweeter and less refined in flavor than the usual Vitis Vinifera type used in Europe.

Alcohol: 11% Cork Type: Synthetic Nose/Bouquet: spices and rose petals Flavor/Palate: spicy cherry citris flavor Finish: long lingering spicy cherry citris flavor Color: Translucent Rose Red Chill Factor: 45 F Decanter/Breathing time: 0 minutes, not necessary Potential: Can drink right away but may be able to Cellar for awhile Food: Good by itself or with Cheese and Dessert. We drank it with various cheeses Overall Opinion: A very good party wine for all occasions and great on a hot summer night with or without food. Dubbed a Hot Tub Wine, we will keep buying this one for sure, but it won't be a cellar wine. It seems meant for immediate consumption.

Sampled on a tasting at the winery. unimpressed. first wine rated as "avoid". think concord grape juice mixed with grain alcohol. actually, think red jello shots from your college days... and then visit the winery and see exactly what I mean: this place was actually pawning jello shots made from this concord grapa to the tasters. hard to believe, but true. to top that, when the red cat was poured, the winery tried to force tasters to sing a diddy about red cat and gets you in the sack or something like that. rocous winery very fitting for cheap "wine" (and I use that term loosely in this case) more akin to boons farm than table wine. avoid the bottle. avoid the winery. unless, of course, you're looking to get tanked in a hot tub.

Some wines are created to go with fine dining, but when the cork imprint says "the original hot tub wine" you figure you're heading for the pizza side of the scale. That said, it's a very drinkable table wine. Nice aroma, brightly acidic initially, then an instand of an intense "grape juice" taste followed by a smooth finish. We had this bottle with a spicy steamed cod and veggies dish, and were very pleased with it.

Made from Catawba and Baco Noir grapes, this light-bodied wine, with red fruit flavors is great for sipping, and also pairs nicely with spicy cuisine.
