Powerful and full of red fruit. The finish is fresh and vibrant with notes of butterscotch and vanilla. I never thought this rather inexpensive wine would develop this far. Drink now.

Opaque mulberry appearance. Pronounced, concentrated aromas of spiced black fruit, chocolate, dried herbs, camp fire, and a touch of iron. Medium weight, smooth texture, and taut acidity. Red plums, red currants, mocha, and a dash of cayenne flavors precede granitic minerality and oak on the finish.

Wine Reviews: Merlot: SRP: $38. A very ripe and attractive nose of dark black cherries, ripe plums, and black currant jam. This is followed by oak, bittersweet chocolate, black soil, wild herbs, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The tannins are soft and ripe, but too much oak rears its head at the end.
